The Seaside District where you can go for a walk along the Promenade des Anglais, is one of the most visited part of Nice. People go there to rollerblade, walk , jog or just to sit there and enjoy the view of the sea.
In Vieux-Nice you can visit religious structures and historic buildings such as the Palais Lascarais, Bailique Sainte Reparate and the Opera. This is a good place for artists where a wide variety of exhibits are shown. The Marché Saleya which is apart from being a fruit and vegetable market is a flea, arts and crafts, and flower market.
In the Massena district you can go to the Place Massena which is in the center of the town. This district is perfect for window-shopping; here you can walk along the Avenue Jean-Médecin where most shops are located such Galeries Lafayette, Marks and Spencer. You can go shopping at the Nice Etoile shopping center.
You can also visit the Port district where you can have lunch at one of the many restaurants and taste the typical plates ; and enjoy the view of the boats on the horizon. The atmosphere here is unique.
The Cimiez district which is a residential area is bordered by the Cimiez Hill. Here you can see some of the most popular attractions in the town such as the Roman amphitheatre, which is home to the Annual Jazz Festival, the Roman baths, and the Matisse Museum among others.
You can take a bus and get to Mont-Boron which offers a spectacular view of the city of Nice. On the way to Mont-Boron you can visit the Terra Amata Museum of Paleonthology which deals with the prehistoric past of the area. The neighboring Mont-Alban also present a fantastic of the city.
The Arénas district is the newest in Nice and it is located neat the airport. This district is the business center of the city of Nice and it is very modern and functional. Here you can visit the Phoenix Park or the Museum of Asian Arts.
In the Promenade du Paillon district you can go to the Palais des Expositions and the Palais des Congrès. Here you can also visit the Acropolis, a building where conferences and exhibitions are held, or go the Cinema or the theatre which are both located in this area.
