Before going too much into detail we have a nice schedule, what you might do on a three day stay in Paris:
Three days in Paris
Many things are said about Paris and most of them are definitely true but if you have the opportunity, go and check by yourself. Paris is known as the City of Lights and it is one of the most attractive cities in the world. The best time to visit the city is in the spring (April-June) when the temperature is mild. Winter and autumn are also good moments to go there.
Although you might think that three days in Paris are not enough to enjoy all the things the city has to offer, continue reading and you will see how wrong you are. There are plenty of places to go and things to do and you can have the most of it if you exploit your time wisely.
On your first day in Paris it would be a good idea to visit the Eiffel Tower . The best time to go there is the morning or late in the evening in order to avoid multitudes. The Tower was built in 1889 for the International Exhibition of Paris to memorialize the centenary of the French Revolution. There are three platforms, on the first and second level there are really expensive restaurants and the third level offers the most incredible view of Paris and there is a bar, a shop and Gustave Eiffel’s office.
Then, you can continue with a tour on the Seine on the Bateaux Mouches and after that you can take the metro at Place de l’Alma and go to the Arc de Triomphe. From the top of the Arc you have an impressive view of the city. Afterwards, head to the Louvre but if it is too crowded you can wait until the next morning to visit it.
Early on the next day you can visit the Louvre Museum . Keep in mind that in one morning you will only be able to visit only part of the museum since it is really big. The next move is to go to the famous street in Paris St-Honoré where you will find the Palais de l'Élysée, which is the French President’s home, and the Neoclassical Église de la Madeleine. Go shopping at the shops along the Grand Boulevards.
In the afternoon you can visit Montmartre and go to the Pigalle or Blanche stop. You must go and see the renowned Moulin Rouge which is on Boulevard Clichy.
There in Montmartre you can go to place des Abbesses where you can see the church of St-Jean de Montmartre , and the Art Nouveau Guimard entrance to the Abbesses metro station.
On the third day you can go to Orsay Museum and then go on to see Notre-Dame Cathedral which is a must see monument. Then after lunch, you can visit the Latin Quarter . At night you can go for a walk along the streets of Paris , taste Parisian food and wines.
