Travel Guide Sylt
Beautiful holiday accommodation can be found across the whole of Germany. The most northern state of Schleswig Holstein, with its North Sea coast, is a highly popular tourist destination. On the North Sea island of Sylt, you will find attractive villages with inexpensive accommodation. To the south of the Island, is Hörnum, from which you can take the ferry to visit the neighbouring island. The east side of the island is popular for its Friesian style houses. You will find many vacation rentals in this style throughout the island of Sylt, with beautiful thatched rooves, and attractive walls surrounding the plots, covered with rose bushes. There are beaches to relax on near the holiday sites. Across the whole island you can find a quiet Ferienwohnung Sylt surrounded by sand dunes, only minutes from the beach.
Travel to Westerland by train, Sylt shuttle or plane; you can reach all other Sylt resorts easily from here. Families with children often head to Wenningstedt, which is the perfect playground, with its wide sandy beaches. In the evening you can watch the sun set over a glass of wine, and enjoy the walk to Kampen along the dunes. There you can relax in the Sturmhaube with a view of List. Back along the beach, towards the south, stop at the "Wonnemeyer", where you can enjoy the sounds of beach music.
The Deutschland Kurzreisen are found in all months of the year, whether spring, summer, autumn or winter.
