Ferry Greece (to Italy) Guide

During the high season, ferries from certain major ports on the Greek islands will bring you to Italy. There are about 8 major international ferry companies making the trip from Greece to Italy. Ferry service slows considerably in October and picks up again in April. If staying on one of the smaller Greek islands, you may have to make a trek to a larger port before leaving for Italy. Most Italian ferries disembark in Brindisi, Ancona, Venice, or Bari.

From Corfu, several major ferry lines will take you to Venice, including the Anek lines and Minoan lines.

From Patras to Ancona, Italy, you can choose to take the Superfast ferry, or the more affordable Anek or Minoan lines. These same lines run from Igoumenitsa to Ancona.

One Ferry company, "My Way" runs a ferry from Patras, Chephalonia and Zakynthos to Brindisi.

From Igoumenitsa or Corfu to Brindisi, the Ferry lines Agoudimos, My Way and Fragline make regular trips.

From Patras or Igoumenitsa to Bari, Italy one can choose from the Superfast, Blue Star, Agoudimos or Ventouris ferries.

Minoan and Anek ferries will take you from Corfu, Igoumenitsa or Patras to Venice.
