Mykonos Nightlife Guide

Mykonos is the world's best “of age” spring-break destination. With the wildest parties in Greece, the Mykonos nightlife stretches far into the daylight and draws the most hard-core revelers from Europe and abroad. The party sirens are calling all table dancers and ouzo shooters to Mykonos this summer; will you be able to resist their enchanting wail?

The partying-est spot on the island of Mykonos is "Paradise Beach". In the morning, this looks like any other Greek beach with shimmering golden sand, light waves and a long stretch of rented lounge chairs. The party begins on Paradise beach in the late afternoon as beach bars "The Sunset" and the famous "Tropicana" start to pick up the music and beach-combers pick up their shot glasses. From the moment the first Sorority girl sets her pink toes on the table until the sun is high in the sky, the party is going strong on Paradise Beach.

A short trek from Paradise beach is "Super Paradise Beach", a popular beach destination for gay travelers. While without the same Frat party atmosphere as its neighbor; Paradise beach has a bar with a pool where visitors will find the same enthusiasm for dancing, drinking and whatever else comes with it. When night falls, many Super Paradise partiers move into town for the popular gay clubs Pierros, Mantos and Icarus.

Inside of Mykonos town you will find an abundance of parties happening throughout the season. You may want to begin your evening at the Caprice bar located on the water in the "Venice" area of Mykonos. Known for its tropical fruit drinks, this bar is a relaxing yet fun place to begin a long night. From there you will probably want to move on to the "Scandinavian Bar", ask anyone in town where this place is located; it takes up an entire city block.

The biggest nightclub in Mykonos, in fact, in all of the Greek isles, is "Space Bar". Space Bar can hold 1,000 dancers, and is the sister club to the famous Space Bar in Athens. Though a little pricey, the dancing is always good. Some of Mykonos' other popular clubs include the "Mykonos Bar", "Down Under" and "Celebrity". Mykonos life IS Mykonos nightlife, and vice versa; there is no lack of activities at any hour in Mykonos for those who really want to party.
