Ibiza is a vacation getaway known for catering to travelers of all ilks, including gay travelers. On the east end of Calle de la Virgen, near the harbor, you will find "Tied Up" and "Teatro" bar as well as the lesbian bar "Sunrise". Dalt Vila is the walled-in area of town, filled with tiny winding sidewalks and clubs, of course. It is here that you will find some of the best cruising in all of Europe, especially at "La Muralla". La Muralla is a huge cruising bar with an erotic shop, cages, accessories, private rooms, performances and fun theme nights. La Muralla is also the island's only "men only" venue.


On the west end of Calle de la Virgen, you will find an abundance of gay-friendly bars and restaurants. The Dome Bar, (34 971 31 14 56), is a traditional hang out for gay locals, and their new foreign friends. Friendly to all fashionable, the Dome Bar stretches nearly a block and is a true Ibiza establishment. Other gay-friendly bars in the area include the newly opened "Cofusion", "Ethno" and the very popular "Soap", next to the Dome Bar, the two Soap bars (up and down) are well lit, raucous and easy to find.

For some casual fun while on the island, there are several popular cruising spots. Just above La Muralla, between the rampart walls and the cliffs, known as the "Tunnel of Love". The swimming pool at the nearby resort of Figueretes and the dunes just behind the Chiringay area of Cavelett beach.
