Ibiza Nude Beach Guide
Ibiza is a very popular vacation spot for long-time naturists and amateur nudists alike. Nude bathing is permitted on nearly all beaches outside of the resort areas. There are several designated nude beaches which are very popular, and one was even voted one of the world's best nude beaches by Fodor’s in 2005.
Playa d'en Bossa is one of the island's two great nude beaches. Covered with 4 and 5 star hotels, restaurants, cafés, and even night clubs, this long and wide sandy beach is both beautiful and accommodating. During the daytime, it is a family beach and in the afternoon it turns into a bit of a party. In mid-afternoon models, body builders and voyeurs hit the beach to see and be seen. In the evening, the techno music begins at the many bars along the beach and along with it, the drinking.
But Playa d'en Bossa isn't all sex and partying. This is also a gorgeous Mediterranean beach with clear blue waters and fine white sand. The sunshin is optimal here, and the backdrop can be stunning as well. Nudism is common and casual in Ibiza, and do not be surprised to see nudes of all types, not just the professionals, enjoying a titillating dip in the azure waters.
The wild Es Cavalett beach is another one of the world's most popular nude beaches, and also happens to be in Ibiza. This beach is well known for it's gay corner, on the northernmost side. This "official nudist beach" is backed by rugged forests and sand-dunes, which you may want to steer clear of if travelling with small children (for a number of reasons). The woods behind the beach are beautiful, and the wildness and ruggedness of this beach have been preserved despite its popularity.
You will find that no other place has such a healthy attitude towards nudity nor the opportunities for it. Ibiza is perhaps the most perfect vacation spot for the nude bather, with two of the best nude beaches in the world.
